Tustin Area Historical Society

boys of summer Tustin Area Historical SocietySo it's been quite a while since I've visited the Tustin Area Historical Society but just like any place that houses and displays history, I find it fascinating.

It is surprising when you start to dig into the history of Tustin, you learn much more than you bargained for.

It's not a big place, and I wouldn't plan on making it an all day outing but it's definitely worth visiting in Old Town Tustin.

Also, if you can't get there during the limited hours (listed below) they have a box of brochures placed outside which will take you on a self guided walking tour of Old Town Tustin.

According to the brochure, the total walking distance is just over two miles.  The tour includes 43 landmarks.  Many of the buildings and homes included in the tour are from the 1880's, with highlights being the Stevens House (1887) and Hewes Mansion (1881).

A great way to walk or bike around a great town.
