You know a while back I use to be in a group called Heartfelt. It was originally a quartet then we made it into 5 girls then 6 and went back to 5 and finally back to 4. Anyway, we recorded a CD just for fun and to be able to give other churches a look at what we sounded like before they would hire us to sing there.
It was so much fun and we all loved the Lord so much. I think we all wanted to do more with the group but of course like anything, at some point it all has to end! And it did..sniffle, sniffle. But as I was going through my music on my computer to see what I wanted to put on my new phone I came across a few songs that we did and well, I just had to share them. Boy did it bring back some fantastic memories!!! And some sadness that it is over. I sure do miss singing with these ladies weekly and performing with them.
Yea, I still sing several times a week for church, but it is not the same as singing with these ladies! There is a friendship and a love that is very different when you sing in a small group verses solo or in a choir.
I also put the two solo songs I did for Julie, the lady who wrote these songs. She was doing some sort of song writers competition or something and she had me record these two songs for her.
I hope you will all enjoy these songs as much as I did singing them and now listening to them a few years later!
